Create database

By pressing "j" button in the tab column, the database editing window will be shown.
New database
"Duplicate from an active page" is added from the database of the page you are editing. When you edit the source page, this page will update.

Select "Create new" to create a new database. Please select a ".sintpl" file that you edited on the template page from the "Select Template" window.

If multi-use is valid and the closed databases are still on disk, the names of the databases are added to the list. When you press these items, the databases return to the page.

If the backed up database files(*.sin) exist, they are displayed in this window. When these files are selected, a new database is created based on the contents of the file and cards are restored.

Sketch images read from Short Idea Note Rev.1 are treated as a background image. You can add shapes but can't modify those images.

Select "Create new" to create a new database.
Select a template
Please select a ".sintpl" file that you edited on the template page from this window.

If you choose "Connect online," it will connect to the database on the network. At this time, Short Idea Note will work as a database client. If multi-use is not enabled, it's a read only.
Connect online
In this window, enter the address of the web server beginning with "https" and an access key(The behavior of this text depends on the program of the server that you are connecting to), and press OK button to start the connection.

If you want to temporarily save the connection destination, enter a name in the selection box and press "j" button. Pressing "k" button deletes the item that matches the name appended in the selection box.

If you select the sample database pre-registered in the selection box, you can look the database (The early days Natural Science Nobel laureate list) at the server of TNK software.

To create a database server, you need knowledge of server and database programming. I am releasing a programming example by PHP for connection, so please download from here if you are interested.
